Yuzu Japanese Grapefruit

This is THE Yuzu, the one that's super strong, bright, soaps well, sticks...does everything I'd hope a fragrance oil would do. I've tested it; made a batch of castile with it, and although it faded a bit in the mold, it came back like gangbusters when it was cut, and got even stronger as it cured. This F/O is a winner!

Yuzu is a Japanese Grapefruit, and it has a very strong and bright fragrance. Unlike regular grapefruit, Yuzu is a hybrid of grapefruit and mandarin, so it's got additional perfume notes. But not just mandarin or tangerine, but it's got a grapefruit blossom top note that's positively haunting. It's a must for a spring and summer lines and it sells well year round. It's awesome in lotions, bath and shower gel, salt scrubs, and salts. Not good in candles (citrus oils rarely burn well!), but it's fantastic in tarts. Packaged in HDPE bottles.
