Yuzu Japanese Grapefruit

This is THE Yuzu, the one that's super strong, bright, soaps well, sticks...does everything you would hope a fragrance oil would do. We've tested it; made batches of castile with it, and although it faded a bit in the mold, the scent came back like gangbusters when it was cut, and got even stronger as it cured. This FO is a winner!

Yuzu is a Japanese Grapefruit, and it has a very strong and bright fragrance. Unlike regular grapefruit, Yuzu is a hybrid of grapefruit and mandarin, so it's got additional perfume notes. But not just mandarin or tangerine, it's got a grapefruit blossom top note that's positively haunting.

This fragrance is a must for a spring and summer lines but it sells well year round. It's awesome in lotions, bath and shower gel, salt scrubs, and salts. Not good in candles (citrus oils rarely burn well!), but it's fantastic in tarts.
