Summer Pudding^™

This lovely scent is laden with the memories of a demure summer afternoon tea! Summer pudding is a lovely fruity dessert that requires no baking but provides a spectacular presentation. With it's red-stained soft shell and luscious interior of fresh berries, it's so attractive. Chilled and fresh, it's just perfect for the celebrations of summer. It requires some planning (as do all worthy things) as you have to begin making it the day before you wish to serve it.

Summer Pudding has crustless soft slices of fresh, Sweet Bread layered into a mold. A sweet/tart syrup is then made with sugar, lemon and a blend of berries, tenderly poached to keep their shape. Some of the syrup is reserved, and the fruit carefully spooned into the bread-lined mold. Weighed down and refrigerated, the mold chills and takes shape, until it's unmolded the next day and has the reserved juice poured over it. It couldn't be prettier, or more delicious!

Our fragrance opens with a lemon zest accord, and additional top notes of Black Current and Cassis. Middle notes of Blackberry, Guava and Plum add the heart of a summer fruit medley, and the scent dries down to Vanilla, Musk and Tonka Bean.

And it's phthalate-free, too!
