Peppermint (Redistilled) Idaho FCC Essential Oil
Description: A hardy perennial, which can grow two to three feet tall, including the flowering spikes. The leaves are a moss green color. It grows pale, lilac flowers in the summer around late July if not clipped down.
Color & Consistency: Colorless to pale yellow, thin liquid.
Strength of Aroma: Strong.
Common Uses: Definitely a first aid kit must! Relieves aches and pains, itchiness, inflammation and soothes migraines. Activates lymph and increases circulation and white blood cell count. Good for acne, dermatitis, ringworm, cabbies, toothache, detox, constricts capillaries, relieves itching (pruritis, eczema, urticaria), softens and degreases skin, removes blackheads, cools skin, retains moisture in skin. Enhances our receptive capacities on the mental and spiritual level, instills inspiration and insight. Said to bring dreams of prophecy and develop emotional tolerance.

History: Used in both Western and Eastern Medicine since over 3,000 years for many different complaints.
Cautions: No known toxicity. GRAS approved by the FDA as food flavor. Avoid high concentrations on skin care since it can cause a burning sensation and sensitization. Do not use more than 1-2 drops per 1 oz. of body care. Do not use Peppermint Essential Oil while taking homeopathic remedies. |
