Highly prized for it's natural emollient properties, and high oxidative and regenerative abilities, Mango butter is a great source of essential fatty acids. It is an exceptional ingredient in bath & body care products, very similar in color, texture and Stearic acid content to cocoa butter. Unlike Shea Butter, it doesn't get grainy in lip balms.

Cold-press extracted from the seed kernels of the Mango tree, a tropical evergreen grown in the subtropics of India and elsewhere, Mango butter is solid but soft with a slightly sweet aroma. It's protective effect against UV radiation makes it a great cream additive (or used "straight") for dried, peeling, itchy skin from sunburn. It's hardness, and ability to melt at skin temperatures, makes Mango butter generally a great additive for lip balms, lotion bars, and soap. With it's good emolliency and regenerative abilities, Mango butter reduces skin cell degeneration, restores elasticity, and provides relief from dryness due to eczema and psoriasis.
