The Blue Lotus was the symbol of Upper Egypt and sacred for it's beauty and symbolism. Closing it's petals at night, it reopens every morning, revealing a golden center, surrounded by beautiful blue petals... reflecting the Sun and Sky. Rising skyward through water, but grounded in earth, it embodied the most important elements.

Sweetly scented with a fragrance described like a hyacinth, it was used to mask odors for funerary purposes. Egyptian scriptures enumerate fragrance, purity, delicateness and beauty as the attributes of lotus.

A bouquet of the heady sweetness of Hyacinth, Tuberose, Freesia, Orange Blossom and White Calla Lily balanced by Chrysanthemum, Linden Leaf and Pomegranate. Closing with green and woodsy notes of Wild Celery, Cypress and Mahogony.

And it's phthalate-free, too!
