Cannellini Ricci™
In Renaissance Italy, guests at a wedding celebration are each given 5 candies by the bride to make 5 wishes for the couple. In Sicily, the candies were small spicy sticks of cinnamon bark, thickly coated with a hard candy shell, and dyed pastel colors (like Jordan almonds).
The Candies were eaten by the guests, wishing for a healthy, long life, fertility, wealth, sweet happiness and wisdom for the couple. The Candy, a symbol of plenty, offset and balanced the cinnamon, a symbol of health and wealth, while the hardness of the shell taught patience.
This fragrance oil is a skin-safe cinnamon balanced with a very light touch of Vanilla and sweet Cane sugar. The base notes are Tonka Bean, Benzoin,
Vanilla and Olive Wood. Middle notes include Hazelnut, Almond, Nutmeg and Sweet Cream. Top notes of Cinnamon Leaf and Pignoli... and it's phthalate-free, too!
